Tom and Gail Haverdill, Trish and David Burton, Elaine Harkless, Bill Laurenson, Ed Kidd, Abe and Amy Cohn, Gail and Mark Ritchey, and David Eggert and myself -- a combination of first-time and Gulfcoast-experienced mission trippers -- will descend upon Noelridge Christian Church in Cedar Rapids this Sunday evening. After a night's rest on church-provided cots and/or air mattresses brought from home, we'll be ready for our work assignments on Monday morning.
Please pray for our safe travel and safety on the worksite, while also giving thanks for the privilege of being called to serve in this way -- for whatever work we will accomplish, we will have received a thousand-fold of blessings in your prayers and the Iowan lives that will touch ours. Watch for photos of our work as the week progresses.
I've got my work gloves and boots, and I'm ready to Get Dirty for Jesus!
